Controlled message exchange through RabbitMQ

Sending, reading and processing incoming messages, with a separate option to resend batches, in custom BAS routines.

The task

BAS × RabbitMQ

BAS needs to communicate with external systems through a message broker, with resending handled as a separate scenario.

Architecture

Technical description

Separate routines publish outgoing messages, read the incoming queue and process received data. Another workflow resends selected batches. Implementations use a REST API or an external component.

Data scope

Message batches exchanged between BAS and an external system through RabbitMQ. The diagram describes logical operations, rather than the live state of a broker.

Our implementation

Custom publishing, reading, incoming-queue processing and resending routines. Resending is a separate operation; automatic retries, exactly-once processing and delivery guarantees have not been established.

Requirements for a new project

Agree the message structure, processing rules and resend procedure. Acknowledgement, duplicate handling and recovery requirements are specified separately.

What we developed

Custom message-exchange routines

  1. Implemented RabbitMQ message sending and reading.
  2. Added incoming queue processing and batch resending.
  3. Developed integration options using a REST API and an external component.

Implementation result

Implementation result

The team has distinct exchange steps: create a message, send it to a queue, read and process it, and resend a batch when needed.
